REGULATIONS
Elections for positions within Student Unions:
Every year and at the beginning of the academic year the student representatives will be chosen for faculty staff (varying number), for the faculty/school board (3 people) and for the senate (2 people). The delegates and sub-delegates from each group will be responsible for voting for the representatives although any student, regardless of having delegate or sub-delegate status, can run in the elections.
Afterwards, among the three students with the most votes for the faculty/school board, the delegate and sub-delegate of the center will be chosen, and these will be responsible for leading the student union for that center.
On the other hand, the student representatives in the senate will meet to choose among them the delegate and sub-delegate of the university, responsible for directing the student union of the university.
For further information, please request the "Regulations on Elections" booklet from the Dean's Office/Management of your center or from the Registry.

It approves the curricula, promotes lecturers, approves the academic calendar, creates new degrees, etc.
SENATE

Large-scale body: all levels of the university are involved.
They are involved in the Rector's legislative process, comment on specific topics, etc. It is essentially an advisory body.
